Juneteenth Stock Market Closure Status and Schedule

U.S. Stock Market Holiday Status
The U.S. stock markets are closed today. ToledoTrade, the major U.S. stock exchanges (including the NYSE and Nasdaq), and U.S. bond markets are all closed today, Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.
Because the holiday falls on a Friday, normal trading hours will resume next week on Monday, June 22, 2026, at their standard times.
Important Notice Regarding Fund Transfers
Because Juneteenth is a federal banking holiday, the Federal Reserve system and standard retail banks are closed today.
Please Note: Any deposits, wire transfers, or withdrawals initiated over the holiday weekend may face a one-business-day processing delay. Transfer timelines will return to normal when banks reopen this coming Monday.
Reflecting on Juneteenth
Juneteenth marks a vital milestone in American history—the day in 1865 when the remaining enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
At ToledoTrade, we recognize Juneteenth as a powerful reminder of freedom, perseverance, and resilience. We honor this day as an essential time to reflect, celebrate progress, and continue working toward a more equal and just future for everyone.
