The best way for US account holders to request an account transfer from another broker is through an Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS) transfer. Please complete the following steps to request an ACAT transfer:

1. Login to Client Portal and go to the Transfer & Pay > Transfer Positions menu.
2. Choose Inbound Position as your transaction type, ACATS as your method, and fill out your broker and account information below. You can select either a Full or Partial
3. Click Continue and follow the prompts on screen.
4. The last step will be to enter your digital signature in the field provided. Once finished, click Continue

Accounts transfers from other brokers take approximately 4-8 business days depending on your broker.
